Scouts, Guides, Sea Cadets, Sea Rangers, members of Boys’ Brigade, together with groups from Schools, Colleges and other youth organisations are welcome to join our voyages. Crew members work together to sail the boat, feed the crew, keep the boat clean, safe and tidy. These tasks are all guided by qualified volunteer Sea Staff. No prior experience of sailing is required.
We offer voyages for groups of young people accompanied by their own leaders. We also offer trips where individual young people can come on their own or with friends. Many people use our trips to complete the residential part of their Duke of Edinburgh awards.
On weekend voyages, we generally sail within the Solent, the area bounded by the Isle of Wight and the mainland. On longer voyages we go further afield, perhaps along the west coast, or across the channel to France.
