Tall Ships' Race

 Thermopylae Clipper is entered for the 2008 Cruise in Company and Race from Norway to Holland

Voyages during the summer all qualify for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme residential section.

Discovery and Thermopylae

Weekend Sailing: 

Weekends are available for groups to book in April, May, June, September, October and November. These join on Friday evening and depart Sunday afternoon

Two weekends (one in April and one September) are reserved for individuals of any age to sail and are ideal for a few friends to sail together or possibly a parent and youngster! These are the 'open weekends' shown on 'Discovery Bookings'. (There is also an open week (Monday - Friday) in April during the 'late' Easter Holiday)

Weekday Sailing:

The yachts are  available for use by schools or other youth groups, for mid week use from Sunday evening until Friday afternoon or any part of the week, possibly just for a day. From May to September evening taster voyages can be arranged to fit in with your programme.

Corporate and team building voyages are also undertaken during week days. Mid week sailing is great for a team of leaders or friends to get away for a few days.

Small Ships Race

In October Discovery and Thermopylae Clipper will enter the annual Cowes Small Ships Race. Crew will join Discovery on the morning of Friday October 3rd for an introduction and work up session.  The fleet gather in Cowes for the evening ready for an early start on Saturday 6th for a challenging Solent race of approximately 50 miles.  In the evening there is a crew party and prize giving.  The yachts will return to base on Sunday 5th to depart approx. 1400 hrs.

Bambi

Bambi is available for small groups, special weekend such as our popular 'creek crawling weekends', RYA competent crew and Day Skipper Practical courses and for Afterguard to gain more experience and sea time

If you want an RYA practical course or a 'creek crawling' weekend aboard Bambi, please look a available dates on the Bambi Programme and contact us.  We will supply an Instructor or skipper. RYA Day Skipper courses need to be a week (Sunday evening to Friday Afternoon, or three weekends (Friday evening until Sunday afternoon). You tell us what dates you would like!
